Prelude.

The year is AAD 200

The world is a different place than one would expect. Weekends are non-existent, free speech is silenced, and everything fun and delicious are banned.

On the day I was born, the Sandanista Front won the elections in Nicaragua.

When I was bad, my parents grounded me and hid my toys, but I knew where they put them.

In elementary school, I was unruly and often fought with the other children.

When I turned 10, my parents divorced. Whenever I talked, they argued, so I stayed quiet.

In junior high school, I was obsessed with swords, and started lifting weights.

Things were getting really bad when I stole my first car. I got a few blocks before I totaled it.

Well, I knew it had reached a crescendo when I stole a cop car when I was only 16. I went to juvie for 6 months.

I was only 17 when I ran away, and I started robbing houses: rich people only. I was fed up with their crap.

Life went on. On my 18th birthday, I celebrated. I'd saved up 5000 bucks!

For the past couple of years, I've been stealing from Corporations.

I live in Juwon-ji, the industrial slums; and that was where fate struck.

Chapter 1: First hunt.

The cardboard box shifted a little, and light glinted from inside it. The hunched figure who was using it as a cover to shield the light of his binoculars moved a little, sipping from a jury-rigged water bottle, as he silently observed the factory below. In the grounds, he watched as the patrol moved around, electric stun batons holstered as they swaggered around, looking for intruders or escapees.

He had been observing this site for a while, after he had managed to steal some incriminating evidence from the local UNICEF office. According to the information, some little girls were going to be shipped here, rerouted from 'rehab camp'. He ground his teeth a bit, and touched his lovingly-crafted sword. It wasn't much of a sword - just a short, curved blade he had forged himself. It was a crude, nevertheless sharp edge.

As the sun set, YomToxic's wait paid off. An unmarked truck silently turned a corner and drove into the open compound of the factory. As he watched carefully, the guards began to drag two chained, naked little girls out of the truck, and into the factory. Much to his anger, he noticed how the guards molested and kicked them around.

"Those heathens will bleed." he growled.

As the truck drove off, YomToxic noticed that the guards were heading over to a small side-shack. He then uncurled and hid his weapon, as he walked down the stairs of the construction site, and towards the factory. The factory was lightly guarded, and YomToxic discreetly slid a black felt scarf over the lone security camera watching over the exit.

The lock was an old-fashioned twist lock. Jamming his purple screwdriver into the lock and forcefully turning it gave him the results he needed. Without further ado, he let himself into the dingy factory and closed the door behind him.

Chapter 2: First Kill.

The factory was noisy; very noisy indeed. It was a chemical factory of some sort. The noise of the large combiners hurt, but YomToxic realized this could be used to his advantage. Any guards here would be rendered hard-of-hearing with those things running. He began to silently move towards the working area.

What he saw there, rendered what information he had gleaned off UNICEF to be obsolete.

A workforce of about 20 children, mostly little girls were working on the factory floor, in the nude - moving vats of bubbling chemicals, operating primitive mixing tools, and more. He also noticed some guards in the upper levels, jerking off as they watched the hapless children working in conditions that would cause certain health hazard. YomToxic quickly changed his plans; he had to find a way to liberate ALL those children.

And he needed a better vantage point.

There was a guard manning a cherry picker at the far end of the factory. YomToxic snuck upto him and as the guard rocked to a Palin advertisement, YomToxic drove his crude blade into the ribs of the man. His yelp of pain was cut off by the weapon severing his lungs, and drowned by the roar of the chemical processors. Dragging the twitching, dying guard down, he quickly stripped the man of his security guard uniform. That patch of blood would be easy to hide, YomToxic decided, as he slipped into the uniform. He then pushed the bleeding man into a barrel of water, and closed the lid. A few weak knocks ensued, but no one noticed.

Suddenly, A young girl walked out of the toilet, passing by where YomToxic was hiding. At that moment, the last gasp of the drowned guard caught her attention. She came over to investigate - and YomToxic grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to the gap between the crates.

"I'm sorry!. Please don't hurt me anymore!" she began to whimper weakly.

YomToxic shushed her. "Shh!." he whispered. "I'm here to free you."

She calmed down somewhat. "No, we'd be killed if we ran." she sighed quietly, pointing towards her collar.

"What are those, anyway?"

"Explosive collars. If we tamper with them, they're rigged to explode..."

YomToxic gave this serious thought. "They have a way to track you, eh?."

"Uhhuh. The office where the tracking equipment is over there." she pointed at a small office at the top floor of the factory. "Its scary; they take our friends up there..... and..." her voice trailed off.

"Listen. You don't need to talk about it. Wait here." YomToxic replied as he walked out of the enclave. "When things go crazy, be ready to run."

"Be careful!" she whispered, as YomToxic casually climbed up the stairs.

YomToxic walked across the walkway, ignoring the masturbating guards, and into the office the girl had mentioned. Sure enough, there was the tracking equipment the girl had mentioned. The guard who should have been watching it was too busy groping a young girl from the factory floor to watch the place. YomToxic walked in.

"Hey man. Could you cover for me while I get myself off?" the guard asked, without taking his eyes off the girl he was molesting. YomToxic didn't reply, but took a large paperweight from the desk, and smashed it down on the guard's neck. YomToxic smiled as he heard a wet 'crack' from the crippled man's neck. He then kicked the twitching body off the girl and knelt down next to the girl. She seemed to realize just what was happening because she hugged him. YomToxic took the gurgling guard's pistol and gave it to her. "Listen, I'm here to set you all free." he told her, as he helped her up. "Cover me while I shut off this tracker for good."

She understood, and knelt again, and waited by the door. Fortunately, the guards didn't hear a thing. YomToxic's first priority was to find the mechanism to disable the explosive collars. In a few moments, he had hacked into the machine and disabled the tracker node; and for good measure, he then shut the machine down, opened up the side of the machine and poured the contents of the water bottle into the exposed circuits of the computer.

"Heehee, you prankster!" the girl waiting by the door chuckled lightly, as she removed her collar.

YomToxic smiled and moved to the factory's operating panel. This was a machine even a toddler could operate. He quickly noted how the processers could be overloaded by loading chemical reagents past the safety limit. He set the machine to start loading 20 tons of hydrogen sulfide - far above the safety limit of 2 tons.

He waited for a few seconds before the alarms started blaring; and watched as the factory security teams quickly rushed to the rapidly overheating machines. Grabbing the PA Mic, he screamed into it. "You're all free! Take your collars off and run!." That little girl he had met earlier must've spread the message; the prisoners quickly tore off their collars and began a mad rush to the exit. The guards were torn between chasing them and getting in plain view of whoever had taken over the control room, rushing to the control room and risk the entire factory experiencing an earth-shattering kaboom, or making an exit with their lives.

As Yom was about make good on his exit, a guard suddenly ran into the hallway. He was armed with an AK-47 and he pointed it at YomToxic.

"You pathetic waste of flesh." he growled. "Do you know how much money we invested to get all that free labour?"

"I plead the fifth." YomToxic grinned, stalling for time.

The man didn't waste his breath. He aimed his assault rifle at YomToxic's head; and suddenly crumpled. Very, very dead. As he crumpled to the floor, he saw the girl he had rescued from the office with a lopsided grin as she picked up the AK-47. "Oops. I accidentally skullfucked him."

"Let's fucking go!." YomToxic roared.

YomToxic and the two girls raced out into the compound. There were a few cars parked here. "I reckon I can jack this shit." he grinned, as he pulled out a pin and a screwdriver.

That's when everything went crazy.

YomToxic was tackled by the girl he had rescued from the office. As he struggled to get his bearings, the roar of a sonic-boom deafened his ears, and the girl on top of him stopped moving, and the AK-47 fell from her hand. YomToxic froze for a second as he saw blood trickling across her chest and down on his clothes and realized she'd been shot. Cursing under his breath, he saw the sniper perched on top of the roof, switching to a brilliant green laser and aiming at her chest. In a sudden burst of mad rage, YomToxic grabbed the assault rifle and emptied the clip at the killer.

Absolute silence followed. A few seconds, that felt like an eternity later, the sniper's rifle clattered to the floor. Then, the entire area was lit up by a brilliant explosion as the factory literally blew its top. YomToxic quickly jimmied the car's lock, helped the girls into the back seat and drove off. The few security guards who had pursued them were thrown off by some well-aimed shots. He drove into the night, blending in with the traffic.

Half an hour's later...

YomToxic sweated as he attempted to clean the wound on the girl's stomach that the bullet had left. The large bullet, which he had managed to extract, had caused some severe internal bleeding, and without any way to do internal surgery, he was fighting a losing battle. He was shaken out of his despair as he felt a soft, small hand on his cheek.

"It's... allright..." the dying girl looked up at him and smiled. "...you.....did enough..."

YomToxic fought back tears as he injected her with another dose of painkiller. "You'll be fine. Trust me. And once you're better, we'll go and buy balloons, and candy, and stuff. And skullfuck guards with pistols."

Even though she was in pain, she smiled seraphically. "Yeah.... we'll do that." she sighed as YomToxic carefully sealed the wound, and applied a brace to her chest, pushing the flesh together. "Hey..."

"Yeah?"

"I'm sleepy... goodnight hug?" she opened her arms weakly.

YomToxic gave her a hug, and listened to the slow beats of her heart. He was feeling tired too. Maybe this was all a bad dream. Maybe...

The next day dawned with a light drizzle, and when YomToxic woke up, he realized something was very wrong. The girl had died in his arms last night, with a sweet smile on her lips.

"I didn't even know her name, fucking damnit." YomToxic sighed bitterly as he finished burying the body of the little girl who had given her own life to save his. "What kind of incompetent idiot am I?."

His mumbling was interrupted as the girl who he had first made contact with took his hand. "Hi." she smiled weakly, looking up at his eyes. "I'm Mayu."

YomToxic stood there for a moment, and then smiled back. "I'm YomToxic. Pleased to meet you."

"Don't you worry. We're gonna make sure she can rest in peace." Mayu said, as she nuzzled his hand. "We're gonna skullfuck every last one of those dirty fucktards!."

"That we will. That we will." YomToxic nodded, the fire of resolve returning to his eyes. "What would she say if I started moping around like an idiot with tennis balls in my pants?"

"She's rise from the grave and skullfuck both of us, that's for sure." Mayu giggled. "Cmon. I'm hungry. Let's go eat."
