She watched as the man in the mask slyly disappeared from the crowd of his beloved followers, and went to the balcony of the castle where she stood. She turned away and blushed. “What was she gonna do?” She thought. “Lovely night I don't believe I've met you. You are?”He asked. “Zara. Why are you out here and not with your “worshipers”?” She replied. “They are annoying and phony, I needed a break. You?” Zara stared at his mask and listened to his voice, deep, smooth, and crisp. Even though she knew his kind, and normally kept away she was drawn. “I'm just Zara. I'm sure you've heard of what a freak I am.” “A freak huh? How so? You seem totally normal to me.” Zara sighed and stepped into the light of the balcony unfolding her large black feathered wings. In the land of Zartania all the females had wings and normally they were bright, colorful, butterfly like wings, but for Zara she was born...different. “I still don't understand.” He said. “Are you blind do you not see the hideous monstrosity that are my wings.” He walked up to her and touched her feathers softly. “I think they are cool and I think you are too.”
