Although she loved the masked mans touch, it was still a virtual one. With how close they had become there was also a great distance. No matter how much time passed or how much she yearned for him, he was still out of reach. Everytime she had ever touched him before had been a dream. All of the suitors that came along were turned away. When she took her nightly flights on her grotesque wings she found her self thinking about him. When she laid down to sleep she found her self dreaming of him. Even though the longing was great she was determined to remain patient. One night while flying, Zara felt a sharp pain in her neck. She went to touch her neck to find there was a dart there. She suddenly felt drowsy and rapidly began to fall from the sky.
