It's a collection of 4 books (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr and Inheritance), which tells the story of Eragon and his dragon Saphira, in his quest to defeat Galbatorix, I'm at the 3rd book actually, Brisingr, but I have to say, these books are very entertaining and a joy to read.
I'm eager to see how it actually ends, so, you who have read it, no spoilers please =P
But I recommend to those who like fantasy novels, to read this one, it's is a dragon novel, but it's very good, in my opinion.

Re: The Inheritance Cycle
Snape kills Dumbledore. (Spell-check accepts "Dumbledore" but not "Snape.")

Re: The Inheritance Cycle
I actually read all three books, unfortunately haven't read Inheritance yet. Didn't get to buy myself a copy before I left my country. Personally I think it is somehow similar to the LOTR novels, although most definitely a much lighter read.

I started reading these when I was 14 and wanted to burn the fucking things when I tried to read the latest one when I was 17.
