1. The act of introducing, or bringing to notice.

In other words. You are expected to actually introduce yourself, or at least make a witty comment about coming back. You simply took the word introduction and split it in two with a needlessly big amount of NOTHING. This topic convey no message or point for that matters, therefore it is SPAN. Live with it.
