Re: Playing Chrono Trigger on ZSNES Chrono Trigger continues to be awesome. I was actually just wondering today why Square didn't continue the series past Cross, they were both highly acclaimed games (even if Radical Dreamers apparently sucked).

Re: Playing Chrono Trigger on ZSNES Chrono trigger on DS is better. It has new stuff including some kind of arena. Also, you get to see the mini-movies.
The battle system in Chrono Cross was pretty crappy but I still recommend you play it since it's a sequel to CT. The story is as great as usual.
