I'm trying i'm trying~ i'm making I'll try too slowly up my posting. At least once a day for a bit. Then I'll up that too twice, then four, then 8 and so on. Until eventually I wake up one morning and find out that I am actually an Idiot hero. On some quest too cheat on his gf or raise affection of 5 women who conveniently live in my the same dorm as me. In which I only have 100 days to seduce them all.

I remember spending days making really cool maps and then abandoning the project when they were done.
Keep us updated and I will try to keep motivation to stick around. I played around with it and did some rando shit for awhile. If this is a serious project you should outline your ideas more thoroughly and put them into the dev forum. I would be willing to offer my hand if I can be arsed to visit FH in coming time.

"Graphically overdone" I don't think this phrase is used very often, although I know what you are referring to. I think it is all about what you are actually going for in a game and idgaf about graphics most the time, but if you can make it nicer without ruining the "feel" then you might as well. As far as rm2k or rm2k3 or VX Ace or whatever the kids are calling it nowadays, just let AirMan do his research and pick the best medium for his purpose. I'm typically a fan of using later versions of things as they usually are more efficient for their designated purposes, but they can leave out some options by specializing certain functions too much.

rpg maker is all about scripting, so either way I think you can pretty much do anything.
