Remembered something from a dream last night. Pretty hazy though. I was in some shop that reminded me of a cross between a jewellery store and a pawn shop and they pulled this circular section (that's about the size of my hand if I spread my fingers) out of the counter. The counter had no bottom so when they pulled this out you could see all the way through. There also didn't appear to be any reason for the disk-shaped piece of counter to not just fall through. Maybe it was slanted or something, but it didn't look that way. Anyways they pulled off several layers of the disk-shaped piece of counter, all but the top one looking like layers of cardboard. Then there was a plain wooden box after the final layer was pulled away. They opened it and asked me to put something inside, which I did. Then they closed it and a time lapse happens to my memory. Back in the shop, I ask to see the thing again. They bring it out and take away all the cardboard layers again and it looks like a really fancy coaster now. Except its thick and the top is made of glass, and dome shaped. Inside there's some fancy pattern with some kind of tiny emeralds scattered in places for the pattern. Holding this, for some reason I get the idea of asking what happened to my cat. I think I felt what I put in the box was my cat or something.
