Post A lesson in philosophy
Other people don't think like you.

No, I don't mean they have different ideas and opinions and will disagree with you.

I mean they do not THINK like YOU do.

There are many lessons hidden deep within the spam, one must just be brave enough to find them.

That's a lesson I've probably got still when i was in elementary school... yea, first group projects...

From my experience, I would say that it's probably like 1/9 of the world THINK like YOU.

I get what noth1n is saying ;P I think. (Budum TSCH). Anyways, there are as many realities as there are people, but for you, there is only one. No matter how good you are to see others "point of view", you can only see one.

While the idea of reality is itself not entirely a universally held concept, I'd say this is slightly off.

There can be one reality, but there may be as many "points of view" as there are people, or close to it.

But, that's actually still somewhat missing the point I am saying. Someone can have a different point of view and still think like you, or mostly like you. If I argue that we should take a course of action because it will be effective in securing our needs, and you argue that we should not because it will not be effective in securing our needs, and we say these different points because we are using different evidence or have simply chosen different interpretations of the greyer areas, then our thought methods may be mostly alike.

However, if I argue that we should take a course of action simply because it is a beautiful action, regardless of how effective it is, and you argue that we should do the same action because of how effective it will be, we are not thinking the same way, even if we are agreeing.
