pick your fave dog!
when i move, i wanna get a dog. my purebred german shepherd was stolen by my mum, and i cannot get him back. i just feel sad without him, so i want to get a new one.all info will be about males, since i only want a male dog (i dont want a dog that has a bloody vagina) german shepherd - Spoiler: show
weight: 30–40 kg (66–88 lb) height: 60–65 cm (24–26 in) Life span: 9–13 years German Shepherds are highly intelligent and obedient, high active and describes as self-assured breeds. health: later in life, the dog may get arthritis and hip and elbow dysplasia
korean jindo - Spoiler: show
weight: 18-27 kg (40-60 lb) height: 48-53 cm (19.5-21 in) lifespan: N/A The Korean Jindo Dog is well known for its unwavering loyalty and gentle nature, they are of medium to high energy. health: N/A
norwegian elkhound - Spoiler: show
weight: 22–25 kg (48-55 lb) height: 49–52 cm (19-21 in) lifespan: 12–14 years It is bold, playful, independent, alert, extremely intelligent, and, at times, a bit boisterous. health: they sometimes carry a genetic predisposition to suffer from progressive retinal atrophy, or, like many medium and large breeds, hip dysplasia, renal problems and cysts, particularly in later life; they are also prone to thyroid problems. Overall, however, they are a hardy breed with few health problems
samoyed - Spoiler: show
weight: 23–30 kg (51–66 lb) height: 53–60 cm (21–23.5 in) lifespan: 12–13 years Samoyeds' friendly and playful disposition makes them poor guard dogs. health: Diabetes mellitus, Progressive retinal atrophy, Pulmonary stenosis, Hip dysplasia
siberian husky - Spoiler: show
weight: 20–27 kg (45–60 lb) height: 53–64 cm (21–25 in) lifepspan: 12–14 years They are known to howl rather than bark. They have a tendency to roam and to make escape attempts. They are of average working/obedience intelligence. health: issues in the breed are mainly genetic, such as seizures and defects of the eye (juvenile cataracts, corneal dystrophy, canine glaucoma and progressive retinal atrophy) and congenital laryngeal paralysis
alaskan malamute - Spoiler: show
weight: 38.5 kg (85 lb) height: 63.5 cm (25 inches) lifespan: 16 years Independence, resourcefulness, and natural behaviors are common in the breed. Because of their intelligence, they can be difficult dogs to train. health: varied seizure disorders found in young puppies as well as adults, Epilepsy, congenital heart problems, kidney problems and skin disorders, Elbow dysplasia, inherited polyneuropathy, chondrodysplasia, heart defects, and eye problems (particularly cataract and progressive retinal atrophy)
belgian shepherd - Spoiler: show
weight: 25–30 kg (55–66 lb) height: 60–66 cm (23.6–26 in) lifespan: 10–14 years Belgian Shepherd Dogs are described as highly intelligent, alert, sensitive to everything going on around them and form very strong relationship bonds. They are said to be loyal, intelligent, fun, highly trainable and well suited to family life. health: they are afflicted with the most common dog health issues (reproductive, musculoskeletal, and dermatological) and high incidence of seizures and/or epilepsy
afghan hound - Spoiler: show
weight: 20–27 kg (45–60 lb) height: 61–73 cm (24–29 in) lifespan: 11–13 years The typical Afghan Hound can be aloof and dignified, but happy and clownish when it's playing. This breed, as is the case with many sighthounds, has a high prey drive and may not get along with small animals. health: major issues are allergies, cancer, hip dysplasia, and sensitivity to anesthesia. Afghan hounds are also among the dog breeds most likely to develop chylothorax, a rare condition which causes the thoracic ducts to leak, allowing large quantities of chyle fluid to enter the dog's chest cavity. This condition commonly results in a lung torsion (in which the dog's lung twists within the chest cavity, requiring emergency surgery), due to the breed's typically deep, "barrel"-shaped chest. If not corrected through surgery, chylothorax can ultimately cause fibrosing pleuritis, or a hardening of the organs, due to scar tissue forming around the organs to protect them from the chyle fluid. Chylothorax is not necessarily, but often, fatal.

Re: pick your fave dog!
A Shepard is your best bet but unless you're going to let him hit you need to consider a smaller dog given your size and almost inability to control a dog your size.
I'm just saying and what I'm saying is that I think you'll fuck the dog.

neuter it, or it will suffer unless you plan on giving it release every now and then. it'll also not pee as much inside.
German shepherd.

Re: pick your fave dog!
uh peeing inside is a matter of house breaking the dog, not whether he has his nuts i mean lets say you havent a bathroom in your house, you have a outhouse or something you know you shouldnt piss on the curtains, so you walk outside and piss you have balls, but you are trained to pee in appropriate places
and the dog can give himself "relief", its called stealing my toy and humping it until its ass is torn open Q~Q i actually am not happy my puppy did that, i loved my panda toy but i had it on the floor, and it seduced axel, so he took it as his bride xD
there are toys specifically made for a intact dog to hump for sexual relief, theres also pheromone sprays to make him more comfortable doing it or to guide him to hump a specific toy
i dont gotta go down and wank my puppy
also, im not sure about labs, they are pretty to look at but ive never met one i connect with emotionally, then again i probably just picked the wrong one at the shelter or off the street
theres not many dogs who have captured my heart, but somehow i can instantly fall in love with any cat i see xD

Re: pick your fave dog!
it is territorial and hormonal. A dog without his nuts wont be as territorial, and wont be as aggressive either. They also show to pee less inside, whether you trained them or not.
Also, your dog will probably get friendlier with other dogs if he doesn't have his balls.

Re: pick your fave dog!
i do not agree with that my axel and every intact dog ive had was perfect and normal no different than a human humans are territorial, we dont like unwanted guest in our house, we do not castrate every man who got angry at a intruder and humans fight too, still have their nuts my dogs should have the same rights i baby and spoil my pets xD they are not violent or anything, and i train very well

Re: pick your fave dog!
I just feel that if he's not actually going to get to stick his peen in something or someone, then it's better if he doesn't crave it.

Re: pick your fave dog!
well if hes a purebred, i think castrating him lowers his value, he cannot spread his genes
