Like I said on the AJAX chat, home with the flu so I decided to treat myself with some easy-made tacos and some Breath of Fire 4 for the PS1. Now, I've had that game since a year or two after it came out in 2000 for my old console, I've played in on the PS3 through the PSN and whatnot. So let's agree that I've also cleared it a few times. SO! I decided to cheat on it. Now some people know I'm stubborn, but I get more stubborn the more of a bad mood I'm in. Since i got the flu atm, I'm rather bloody stubborn! Let's just say that there were not enough PAL codes to go around, and that the savegame conversions didnt want to work no matter what.
So what is a cheater, belly full with the flu to do?
He sits down for hours upon trying to find codes he wont ever find, tires of it and instead FRIGGIN LEARNS HOW TO PORT CODES FROM NTSC TO PAL AND VICE VERSA! I've also somewhat learned how to make codes from scratch, but it makes my head hurt. I might come back to it.
For those of you intereseted, Breath of Fire 4 on the PS1 has an offset of 2800, in hex. That would be 10240 in decimal.
Now I am going to convert a shit load of codes and ruin this game, play this ruined game for a few hours while drinking some coke zero (Trying to seriously cut down on the sugar. Let's just say the doctor told me I might end up as Hisao if I dont watch my weight and sugar levels). Then It's of to bed.
