Protonmail is an email service that encrypts your inbox, your emails, and do not have the encryption keys stored on their servers (meaning even if the government forced them to decrypt your shit, they wouldn't be able to do it). I've been using it for a few months now, and it is sooo fucking better than google and microsoft bullshit email services. If you register soon, you'll get extra storage for free. (And no, I don't get any kind of reward for inviting you or anything. I am legitimately telling you that you should tell google, yahoo and microsoft to shove their email services up their urethras and fuck themselves with ad revenue.) Protonmail does not store any information about you, cannot locate you, does not care about anything else but your privacy, and is located in switzerland. (They're scientists working at fucking CERN) They don't shove ads up your ass, and they don't ask you for money. The way they earn money is through premium shit, that you definitely do not need.

But they have a very limited storage and server capacity so most people have to wait a few months before they can sign up. This link lets you sign up immediately. I applied like half a year ago and had to wait 3 months.
