 Fog and Snow So, it's foggier than almost ever around here right now, but there's also still a good bit of snow around on the ground, which makes for an interesting environment.
Typically, cold air, such as would make and keep snow around, retains less water. Fog, however, is strong moisture in the air (you could call it a cloud on the ground or whatever), which can happen with a number of factors and happens in the cold all the time, but would usually mean it's warm enough to hold the droplets in the air (the air is thick enough, it's not cold enough to make the water droplets fall, etc).
So yea, fun stuff.
