Re: dietcoke + art
And so, dietcoke left forkheads and ended up working in a sweatshop with other 'great artists', forever chasing SEO hits, and died from overwork.
BAD END.

BAD END. And so, dietcoke left forkheads and ended up taking a risk working with what he wanted to do, wich definately could end up in disaster. At the same time, he got a chance to realize his potential and his dreams, because he dared to try more than nothing (the pronoun, not the FH member :D ). "I have a dream" "If you evaluate a fish from its ability to climb a tree, they will go their whole life thinking they're stupid" "First they laugh at you. Then they ignore you. Then they fight you. Then you win." Wether one succeeds or not, attempting to find the truth about anything, and then trying to achieve the goal one has put to that truth...... that is truly one way of achieving freedom, and feeling alive. Doing nothing leads to nothing. Doing something leads to something. (Again, the pronouns! We at FH loves our pronouns and the members) *Loffy-chwan drops the mike and walks off*

Re: dietcoke + art
here's how you become a good artist. You like drawing, and so you do it.

Re: dietcoke + art
Practice drawing, learn to know to trust that inner part of you that knows that the line isn't curved correctly. study other artists from the type(s) of anime that peak your interest for drawing. compare to your own drawings of similar poses/situations. Learn how they did it and ask yourself if that way is the right way. is your way better? is there rules that control when their way is right and when your way is right? are there other ways to do it?
always ask yourself questions like this while comparing.
not gonna lie, it takes practice to do art.

Re: dietcoke + art
i have his courses, his stuff is based of Loomis and Glen Vilppu
also if you just draw for fun, you will not choose to challenge yourself with things that are hard for you to draw. drawing in itself makes you marginally better. there are these anime fan girls who love to draw and draw their obsessions

However I challenged myself and bam, you can see other attempts at various poses, some were failures, others were increasingly better. I also had a habit to xray other's works. that and colorify manga, there aren't really many examples on r34 but, it helps. if you are drawing people it's also helpful to have a model, if even a wooden one or a computer generated one to base your drawings off of. really challenging your self is a matter of wanting to do it. so, give yourself a reason to challenge your skills.

Re: dietcoke + art
search the tag Joshex, it's all fairly old though, I have some more recent work on my photobucket account, the newest stuff is mainly 3D. there may be some stuff I didn;t tag as mine too. I'll have a look later (mostly edits)
