And many times people think they did well when they really did poorly. The problem is not knowing what the interviewer is expecting, and not having the comparison of other candidates to calibrate a judgement by. That said, sometimes it's obvious something went bad. If that's the case, that's how life is sometimes, you just gotta pick yourself up and dig into the next interview. Try to learn from how you did this time and prepare for next time better.

Re: So, I've decided... well i sort of said it wrong... i think i did well on the actual interview but i needed to take a math test for it and i couldn't do the math as soon as percentages came up i just blanked...
yes i am terrible with even basic math i should probably give up on having a regular job and just join the military like all my other siblings (i have 3 siblings 2 were in the army and 1 is going in the air force after he finishes this semester)

Re: So, I've decided... You could just do some extra work to do math properly. However, most jobs don't require that much math, particularly not math without a calculator.
Even in certain engineering/computer programming/IT fields, math doesn't necessarily come up that much. Understanding math concepts is still helpful in those fields, but a particular job might not touch it that often.

yes i am terrible with even basic math i should probably give up on having a regular job and just join the military like all my other siblings (i have 3 siblings 2 were in the army and 1 is going in the air force after he finishes this semester) people make math too complicated in order to look intelligent. take a look at linear algebra some time, I just raped that shit hardcore by mathematically proving two things; 1: it has an error percentage based on a proportion of a magic number which fuels it, 2: it's hopelessly complicated work for a simple mathematical function (which I've managed to do a lot more simply). I will be releasing these findings through official channels once I get out of lazy mode and get to adding references.
