Mostly beef bone broth, second serious attempt at this style (I've done some chicken bone broth previously in a crock pot as well, but second time with beef bones).

Hopefully this goes better than the last batch, which it should because I was able to get some proper marrow bones to go with the other bones this time. Also threw in a few duck and lamb bones I had around, but not a lot, because I can.

Korean style beef bone broth, if you need.

-before boil it, put it in cold water and extract blood from it, keep changing the water for every 30min to 1h for around half a day.
-put it in a big pot, pour water almost same amount of bone - same height of bones and water.
-boil it, when it start to boil, after 3min you'll see white and dark impurities floating on the water, take the pot away from fire, pour away the boiled water
-wash the bone in detail with flowing clean water, cold or room temp. wash it as clean as possible.
-wash your pot, too.

this process is for preventing that broth becomes unclear by impurities and having bad odor.
If other thing(such as, blood) left, they will make the broth bad.

-put the bones into the pot again with 3 times more amount of water. 1-bone:3-water
-start boil it, when it starts to boil, make your fire weak, and keep boil it until the water lessen as half.
-move the first soup to other container. pour new water(same amount) and start boil it.
-repeat this for 2~5 times. 3,4 times are moderate, 2 times for busies, 5 times for dare.
-During boiling, you will find out some white blanket on your cold soup. These are fat, carefully take it out.
-collect all the soup in one container. (no matter if you keep add these in one container)

It'll take for days to finish this but if you done it correctly, then you'll get really pure, clean bone broth.

Interesting, I appreciate the instructions. That's probably the most hands on and time consuming version of making bone broth I've seen. Most have things setup so that once everything goes in the pot, you just leave it for a couple days, maybe check it and skim the fat.

At this point, I've not only finished the batch, a long time ago, I've already drunk the stuff over the course of perhaps a week or two.

Turned out pretty good actually, and even if it didn't, I wouldn't dispose of the stuff so quickly. Shit costs money, and I'm not loaded. Either way, it served it's purpose well, and turned out a lot better than the first batch I made. Really jelly, ya know?
