Now, I can understand why people want to avoid such topics as it might be potentially incite of violence, but would there be a limit on intelligence and wisdom? --- The Woke revival movement reminds me of the Great Awakening revival movements. No, I wasn't there, but it surely had some similarity of what one would call a past historical repeat cycle. I'm sure it happens to any country, but we are first focusing on this American topic at hand. Oh yeah, I can't be sure if this comparison is a serious topic as these are different terms, but there was Martin Luther King, the Quakers, and so on. Hell, some pro-slavery politics even identify that the son of Ham are divinely destined/ordained to carry their duties until something something. --- If there is anything serious that would make this topic, it would be that the movement would be overlapping/encroaching/infringing to seize upon (freedom of) media merchandises. One would be Dungeon and Dragons. I am sure that this game had upheld its cultural depictions since inception, but I could be wrong. Still, it is probably not their fault. Of course, I would be surprised if woke did reach to this site. We can always press for no evidence of attack since it's a topic regarding discussion rather than riding the waves. Well, I guess there's always cultural depictions, but who's to blame? |
