My little sister is 10. She says on her myspace that she is Asian (because she is born in a US territory in Asia, but she is white so hmm) and that she is punk rock/goth/emo.

She doesn't help with chores and whenever I ask her to help because I'm just too busy to do it she says we treat her like a slave and she always does everything around the house.

Story time:
She goes to her "bff's" birthday party. Mom begs her to be nice and not hurt anyone.
My sister goes around the neighborhood and tells kids to call her Haleyasha and scratches then, kicks them, and bites them even if they are half her age. Because Inuyasha fights and he is her hero. After a few hours there we get a call telling us to go pick her up because she left scratch marks all over some little girls neck, and the little girl only told her that she didn't want her leaving the room because Haley is jealous when her friends talk to other friends, and wanted to listen to the conversation of another little girl who left the room with her friend to talk.

She stays out all night when Mom is at work and I end up having to go out after dark in a trailer park famous for pedophiles, shootings and stabbings and not to mention, the big R that many women in this park after hours have had to move out after experiencing, and find her ass. Sometimes in the rain, sometimes in the snow, never does she get punished. When I bring her in she says she can do whatever she wants and she can stay out as late as she wants because she's old enough to do it.

Mom told her once "I don't want you going out to see your friend, she is trouble" My sister pitches a fit and asks Mom "WHY DON'T YOU TRUST ME YOU NEVER TRUST ME?". An hour later my sister sneaks out of house and I have to go find her, and she is with her friend. No punishment.

She used Mom's credit card to buy clothes on Zwinky and did not ask for permission. No punishment.

Downloaded spyware to her computer. No punishment.

Came home from a party from a house that she didn't know who owned it full of drinking and smoking adults at 12:30 a.m. No punishment.

Beats up a special-ed kid. No punishment.

Rips up all of her new jeans to make them look more punk-rock. No punishment.

And every day Mom asks her "WHY DO YOU DO THESE THINGS?".

Just saying.

Can't spank her, I'd get punished. Dad left us 4 years ago and we haven't seen him in 2. He won't come back because he found a new family to chill with and a new woman.

Mom is a big liberal, she doesn't believe in that stuff and is still angry at Dad for beating me as much as he did (Dad is a hard republican, go figure.) And there is a pedophile living across from us and one living down the street. I don't want her getting raped.

Another fun fact.
My boyfriend plays bass, electric and accoustic guitars. He's good at it considering he is self taught, and know a lot about it.
My sister tells him she likes heavy metal.
He asks her what her favorite metal band is.
She replies "Flyleaf".
He laughs his ass off.
"What your other favorite band?"
"I like Three Days Grace and Slipknot."
"Slipknot's not bad. What's you're favorite song?"
"Wait and bleed."
"What's the main chorus line to that?"
"...I don't know."
"...IT'S WAIT AND BLEED DUMBASS WAIT AND BLEED. What other songs do you like by them."
"...only that one."
"...how do you spell Slipknot?"
"...s...l...i...p...k...n...o...t...e..."

So we've concluded. She is NOT a fan of Slipknot. She is a fan of their distant inbred french hillbilly cousins. Slipknote.

Your sister's pretty stupid, and sounds like she's trying to impress your boyfriend (for whatever reason, I don't know, but she's still stupid). Be careful.

To be honest, I'd say let her stay out as long as she wants. Don't go look for her. If something bad DOES happen, it's her own fault and you can't be blamed after warning her over and over. As much as you probably don't want her raped (family members usually don't after all), you're encouraging her bad behavior by giving into all her demands, especially your mom.

Also, welcome back. Stay for a while and talk with us~

If anything happens to her I get the heat. It's been that way for a while. She won't get punished if I don't do it, and I can only do so much, so as long as no one is going to punish her I'm at least going to try to make sure she doesn't get her ass beat.

Not to be mean but... fuck my life is awesome... and you deserve so much better... so much better. Try not to get shot, stabbed, raped, beaten, or any combination of the a fore mentioned afflictions or any other type of physical or mental abuse. But you know (Not to be mean) I wonder what she would do if something did happen to you while you were out looking for her.

Hell if I know. I don't think it will, I can run pretty fast and I know who to avoid.
