Listening to music in a language I do not understand
Not that this is unusual for any of us, but its interesting. Ever thought about it? I mean, we don't understand whats being said, but it sounds pretty cool and the instrumental parts are good or whatever.
For myself, in English I greatly value lyrics in songs that have them, and songs with really crappy/stupid lyrics, even when they have a good beat, tend to piss me off and I just call the stuff shit. But hell, I don't know what these guys are saying, could be even worse shit.

That's why I look up translations for most of the songs I listen to. Although I usually don't remember them word for word, I understand the general idea of the song.
As for me, I find that I like the instrumentals for Asian music more than American music. There's just something about it that's very distinct from what you hear on the radio, and it's more...pleasing to me. In terms of pop music, that is.

Hmm I would have to say I do this all the time as well. Especially since I found out the lyrics of that one Rammstein song about pedos and homosexuality. Or that one TH vis about breasts, I tend to hum songs all the time, imagine the shame of someone singing along to Mann Geghen Mann with someone that do understand German right next to him/her. Not a real pleasing perspective.
