Wtf is with this sudden emergence of vampires being the sexiest things "alive"? Was Blade REALLY that cool so as to bring about all this nonsense? Oooooo the vampires in twilight go to highschool with us and have real emotions and fall in love with mortals....yeah, they also sparkle like little fairies when they're in the sun. Vampire's Assistant...evidently it's every teen's dream to go to a carnival side-show, get approached by a guy who's really a vampire, and join him in eternal darkness and damnation. It's like these writers don't even know what makes a real vampire anymore..."Let's see...well drinks blood is pretty much a given....super human strength and senses....well, those are the basic requirements, now to fuck them into a role they should never have been in."

Re: No, seriously, wtf.
They made Vampires "Mainstream" with their 2cents Hollywood romance. The tasteless/mindless public just went along and canonized the icon.

Well, actually one of the first times vampires were not just revered for there strength and fear ,but for there intensity(sexually) was Dracula. More precisely Brahm's Dracula was one of the first renditions of Dracula seducing a girl in bed almost unbeknown to her. Mystically most movies based off of Dracula have the mythical facts correct, but of course being in modern society where sexual pleasure ,from a creature that was so feared, is more alluring to a larger audience then being straight up killed by having your blooded sucked dry.
AND thus a whole new, large, and very popular fetish arises.
Hold on, no eye-startling spelling, no glaringly bad grammar, actual contextual knowledge and sentences structure...

lol did you actually think I was THAT bad. Oh come on, how many times did I say I purposely do not type well. You can tell I have ok grammar. Just look at like serious not spam posts. Well, one that needed good grammar. Ya know, to get a point across. I mean like all my post I don't try. rarely do I type proper, and it is only if I need to make a point. Unlike this post because every time i've said something like this is it ignored.

I don't think I need to remind you how vampires were portrayed throughout most of Hollywood history. Does the name Bela Lugosi mean anything to you? It should.
What about Buffy? That was about vampires and high school, yet it was brilliantly written and acted.

Giving birth to a whole new genre of supernatural harlequin novels/entertainment. It's the new trend, we have to deal with it like anything else; just be thankful that boy bands have died out.

lol. not really. Well maybe to you. anyways cute siggy.
and @ Hammm. Varsity Fanclub. and i'd name a few others but my embarrassment meter just went over. -Buffy agreed loved it plus Angel wa hot/ mysterious.(which makes him hotter). -True Blood Another well written and well acted. -Books are that bad at least when they are not the stupid romance novel kind. Twilight, I mean She never wrote for a child lvl b4 maybe she just wasn't getting the grammar thing. Who knows?
