 I've Started Writing [center]Son of a Suburb[/center]
Our story begins far from the gnashing and gnawing of the metropolis in a tiny, yawning northern suburb called Aurora. In this land of cookie cutter houses and rolling pin hills it was once said that the people were made of ticky-tacky and all looked just the same. How true this statement is depends entirely on your point of view – most suburbanites would be quick to point out the different colors in their jogging suits and how some of their grass is greener than another’s, though from an intergalactic viewpoint they are seen only as ape-descended life forms scurrying around a tiny, insignificant blue-green ball. Mercifully, aliens play absolutely no part in this story at all.
For some reason, this paragraph is extremely bitter. I don't know why. I've only been to Aurora twice.

Re: I've Started Writing Mercifully, aliens play absolutely no part in this story at all. However, squirrels do. These small, bushy-tailed rodents were the only ones who were alarmed by increase in child leashes lately, though squirrels are not known for organizing themselves and fighting for social change choosing instead to rely on their grasp of nucleosynthesis and non-Euclydian geometry to see them through. Contrast with geese, whose extortion and racketeering have made them the scourge of the GTA skies.
