 Another reason why Canada's gay. Evidently the body that governs youth soccer leagues has implemented a new rule: if your team wins by 5 or more points, you automatically lose.
This is suppose to foster sportsmenship...I think it's more ridiculous socialist-mentality brainwashing for the next generation. Instead of a redistribution of wealth, it's a redistribution of points. This doesn't teach kids sportsmenship, this teaches them that being losers is perfectly fine. Sportsmenship is beating the piss out of your opponent but not rubbing their nose in it, or getting the piss beaten out of you and admitting defeat gracefully...pushing you to strive to better yourself so that you can win next time. This just teaches that you can have too much, that if you're better than other people you must let the people who haven't earned it win.
