 Kill the "No avatar?" image. When users don't have an avatar, it gives an image that is a big blue speech bubble or whatever they are called. This states "No avatar?" In short it really "grinds my gears". I would like it to suffer a very horrible, painful death. I propose we change it to simply not display anything there if users do not have an avatar. I understand it may have the benefit of motivating users to add an avatar. I know this isn't a big deal and I am being nit picky. It doesn't even need to be dealt with immediately. I just feel it looks garish. Any thoughts?

Re: Kill the "No avatar?" image. yes, yes you can. If you can't leave whatever it is blank, then replace it with a small image of the same color background. Actually a spacer wouldn't work given that we have different view modes. You could make it a transparent image?

Or perhaps a combination of the two? Maybe we could just rotate it 90 degrees? I think a cookie monster would be pretty cool.
