UPDATE POST
Yes, I realize this should be done OOC. But, we can assume that this is OOC from this point on.
Good small excitement from what I can tell of viewership. It's on!
Here's what to expect...
    - Using new system. Pneuma.
    - Renders of characters made in HS2 on the beefiest graphics I can muster.
    - Yes, I will attempt to make Mikkael and Philena. (No guarantees, but doable?)
    - Update posts leading to opening to fill in the gaps of what happens in the interim without breaking the character details. Because I know you all love when I do time skips and explain absolutely nothing. Yeah, screw that, update post will commence in the coming days, stay tuned!
    - Small explanations of the new Pneuma system, commencing... immediately! Keep on reading!
    - World update via Wonderdraft.

How Pneuma Works
Note, this is a bare-bones explanation of Pneuma so as to not spoil too much of the system before release.
    - You get four scores to measure your abilities.
    - Checks are 2d4 + Score.
    - No classes.
    - No levels.
    - Lots of skills and racial customization.
    - Open progression via experience spending.
    - But the experience bar is capped.
    - Spend wisely, because dying is a dangerous ordeal that could cost your experience.

Resolving the Cataclysm
It took two years to resolve the Cataclysm. With the new Order of Apodis fighting alongside the Altena-Taltanis alliance, the humans and meridians pushed back the ARKs in the west. Vel Da Ir, meanwhile, aided the efforts of the Umbrarians who, reluctantly, also joined forces with the Lumbraic church to push back the ARKs on the eastern flats of the mainland. Far to the east, the Reptid and the Kemono worked alongside the Elvyn and Titans to destroy the remaining ARKs.

During this time, Scorpio Moonblossom had been working alongside mysterious forces, learning the true power of the ARKs. He had found a way to use the ARKs to establish Selk superiority in the area. However, with the combined forces in the area and thanks to the marriage between Michael Thompson and Ahnbein Altena, Scorpio was tried and hung after a long battle, and Selk as a whole was destroyed in the process. Michael Thompson, their king for roughly these two years, had suffered a sword wound to the skull, and Ahnbein sealed his life as a statue until the day he could reawaken.

Rebuilding and Growing
The Altenan people established themselves in the farm village of Frenga and began building fortifications to ensure that the lands would remain protected against attacks for "no less than two hundred years" per the royal family's payments into said fortifications.

The Velians, lead by Hiroko's clan, elected her as shogun, and per alliance agreements, the religious orders of the Lumbraics and Umbrarians would not set foot upon Velian territory for no less than 1000 years.

The Reptids and Titans, not seeking another cataclysm, used their mighty breath weapons to seal the divine apparatuses if not destroy them entirely. The dwarflingers, seeing this as an affront to the technology they sought to harvest, descended further underground and decided to pull back from the surface until the people "decided to be more civil" when it comes to the matter of archeological research.

Blinish clans upon the surface began to pick up the pieces left in ruins to aid in their own clan building. Soon they began to learn how to read and write in Altenan and Velian scripts, and began to interact on generally peaceful terms with people of the north, although they didn't find themselves at peace with the "fell elvyn" of the south, and began to encroach on their territory.

The displacement of land gave rise to more accessible area in the east, connecting the lands of Cita Den and the Remnvald Islands. Collectively, the two are considered as one area, despite there still being a separation of landmasses between the two areas. However, the new lands themselves are arid, much like the dying lands surrounding Cyndar, its once grassy and rich soil becoming hot and dead, no longer fueled by the life energy once pouring into it by the chosen god of light and life.

Of Lumbra and Umbraria
During the cataclysm, the eternal paragon, Lumbra, and Umbraria, each fell, and their tools of creation were either lost or destroyed in the apocalyptic Jungalore. It is now said that one exists, hidden from the masses and even out of reach of the paragons, now united as three members under the Order of Apodis.

The paragons Karliah and Ortza realized the folly of the people of the past and sought to bring back Lumbra and Umbraria in the years following the cataclysm, even if it meant a potential of dooming the world once more. Balance, to them, became paramount, and fixing what was broken was key. It thus became their hope that in a thousand years the eggs of the new order would hatch, safely out of the influence of mankind, untouched by the faith of both churches. In a hundred years* they figured the eggs would hatch, and in one thousand the world balance would be restored. Whether they were right or not, they wouldn't be able to tell.

Regardless of this effort, their order sought three additional members, and they took on new names and new forms, over the ages they would seek these members to add to the Order of Apodis, and answer prayers as necessary to ensure the world wouldn't face cataclysm again.

*The Lorian Chronicles, the current RP, begins in roughly 500 years time. Thus, the Lumbra and Umbraria in that game are younger than even some Reptid. As young gods, they only take steps to correct the world when asked, being instilled with fear of making errors of their predecessors.

Still alive and well. Tried to get this going on the site side of things but popularity on the Discord end just kinda... took it from Forkheads.

I kind of still want to do this one up? But yeah, popularity just isn't there.

EDIT: If anyone does want to join, follow the links in my sig to get to The Undercity, preferably on Discord, but Guilded is also viable. (Discord is just better connections-wise and despite backlash over the username thing, is still more popular than Guilded.)
