There's been constant rumbles in our site through the aeons. Netquakes and drama wars ripped apart the communities that came before. Devastating attacks on cyberspace infrastructure shook our site to the core. Through this, we have persevered. I thought I had taken sufficient steps to ensure that FH could truly recover from any disaster that beset us. I'll be frank with you - nothing could have prepared me for the disaster that we would face on the 22nd of May.
Total, absolute oblivion itself. In the vacuum of space, at least there's background radiation and pinpricks of light from distant stars. Not so in the absolute data loss that was what happened then. For six days, there was nothing. It was thanks to Lime that the salvage plan went through well. Cheers, man. You're the real big damn hero of the day.
Problems still continue to plague the site even after the repairs. I will list the most common errors I have observed and how to remedy and/or bypass them.
Problem 1) Attempting to access the index page of the forum gives you a SQL error.
Answer: Click return to index or just go to forkheads.net and login from there.
Problem 2) The site chat is broken.
Answer: We're working on salvaging everything. Please wait.

Lessons have been learned and new methods researched and improved upon. Regardless, the need for more R&D into even more hardened Ragnarok Proofing structures is clear. To this end, we will be starting several projects in order to clear out the clutter and prepare to move to a fresh start - this time to develop a platform structure that's hopefully free of major faults.
1) The removal of over 3000 adbots that have cluttered up the board's database.
2) The archival of legendary content and materials we have made and uploaded to the forums over the scale of 9 years.
3) Research and Development of a 'fresh start'. This site's been up for 9 years, and the wear and tear is showing.
