Post Joshexs log
kinda like a diary of what I do, people can comment and propose things centered around what I'm doing/trying to do.

today, it rained. so I was unable to work outside, so I messed around with giving spawned objects their own unique IDs in blender by giving them a Name property, and setting the value by code during the spawing process. it does not change the object name, so in example it'd still be OBCharacter if it were a character object, but we can separate it out by the unique name property when performing actions on it.
I did this as an alternate method for stand>crouch>morphball physics object switching, where there's a non-physics object as the player and merely spawns a physics object of the desired shape/type, and either parents itself to the object, or follows it's location and Axis Vect. it's a bit complicated, but this way if I wanted to make the player change from a box bounds dynamic object to a sphere bounds rigidbody object, I can.

it could even work to swap the physics object for a softbody like a cloth. not sure how that'd be useful in a game but, meh.

today I cut down the vines from the area where I'll plant the beans. a good 7x 20 area. nearly the whole overgrown garden.

4/23/2024
I cut down the rest of the vines and uprooted some trees, I also carted away the pile of vines from yesterday. but I made a new larger pile of vines to haul away tomorrow, and a big hole which I filled in mostly today but it'll need to be filled in alot more tomorrow. Tomorrow I need to begin cutting crossroots from all the wysteria and dogsdill and whatever trees were around. then I can begin planting that area.

I honestly think that teaching americans to plant bad grasses as a lawn was a control tactic to create a pestillence to prevent proper use of land for crop cultivation. to force dependence on stores and the government for food. someday I'll beat the system, I'll buy an acre of land and make a 10 floor building on the whole land area with basement levels down to bedrock. and each floor will be a farm of some sort. 5 levels for grass for the cows, 5 levels for fruit veg and grains. basement levels for fish, and mushrooms.

I got all the vines and debris hauled away. and I measured out where the beans need to be planted from the fence in 3ft segments and dug a deep V cut out of the ground at 3ft intervals in the width of the area the plants need (3ft square) said 3ft is from 5ft away from the fence to 7ft away from the fence. then I began to separate it out into shovel widths squared in the first section and derooted and weeded 1 1.5ftx3ft section, then started yanking up roots all over the fence side's length while calculating how long it'll take to finish deweeding/derooting the entire ground area the beans need. it's roughly 4 days of 4 hours a day at the pace I worked today. I may delay that to fix the pitchfork as if that was fixed then it'd speed up the process.

4/25/2024
I derooted and deweeded and mounded nearly 2 sections of the garden, only to realize I have it centered on 6ft from the fence it should be centered on 5ft, so I have to do another foot on the fence side tomorrow, I should also edge the fence. Today I worked on rebuilding the site chat in a more controllable fashion. it's not fully functional, but I'm adding in channels, though perhaps there shouldn't be many channels on the client initially until it connects to the server and gets told what channels are available.

I did more work outside, I have 2 3ftx3ft mounds readying for planting beans, and stuck the 8.5 ft branches I cut deep in under the mounds to serve as the main structure of the lattice, I also derooted the area around them (mostly) I still need to do a little basic cleanup of the surrounding area with the pitchfork, but meh, I started soaking 2 beans on a wet paper towel in a plastic bag on my closet shelf, I decided I will not plant them all at once but rather as the mounds become ready for planting. I will also dig a 1ft hole into the mound top and fill it with potting soil before planting. I may have to get more potting soil.
I also worked on the chat, just rebuilding the interface is a job. today I added backgrounds to messages and made sure the chat scrolls to the newest bottom message when you send a message. but I think I'll add a rule to only do so if you are already scrolled to the bottom.

I slept in, and relaxed all day til evening, then about 5pm, I went out and adjusted the mounds, because I misread the confusing spacing instructions, the spacing instructions said "plant 7 evenly spaced around poles 4' (4 feet) apart or 3" (3 inches) apart in rows if using a trellice." I am using a trellice, so I thought inches was a typo when they need to be 4ft appart when planted around a pole, see I imagined a circle of plants around a pole where the edges of the circle are 4ft long between seeds, so I figured it must mean 3ft between plants in a row.. but in reality they meant the poles needed to be 4ft apart with 7 seeds around each pole, this meant that 3" was not a typo, so in my 3ft long area I can plant 12 beans, not 2 like I thought.

so I had to make the mounds into a row, then I dug out a trench and put potting soil and fertilizer in, then mixed it up into the center of the row half a foot deep. then planted and watered the 12 beans. then went to water all my other plants, and by the time I got to the pots in the garden, I noticed grass growing in some pots, so I plucked that. then finished watering only to notice one pot had a swarm of ants flooding out the bottom of it, so I treated the pots with fire ant killer and got out the spreader and spread ant killer over the whole garden, then I had to water the whole ground of the garden to set the ant powder in. in all it was like an hour and a half of work, I finished at 6:30.

All could be for naught. You must consider the political implications as factors of extrajudical action. There might be mispropriation in expropriation, unreasonable search and seizures, and imperialism.

All of a sudden, the value of the lot could be in the sights of real estate and other would-be proprietors. They may even attempt land/property trespassing, even burglary!

Hell, you might be might invest and develop advanced infrared/x-ray glasses/cameras. It's a wonder why developments are stalled for this long, but the political/military implications, implications.
