Post Re: Do you use Chromium?

I removed chrome a long time back and never installed chromium.

it was hard to remove chrome's registry keys and folders. I really don;t suggest installing it ever.

I'm definitely not bugged though

Chromium is based off of Chrome, the same code base and is a buggy POS. So I dont use it.

Using chromium just because you read that it was "kewler" and it ends in -ium....

Bakkas, bakkas everywhere. Of course it's bound to be shitty spyware tier, just stick to firefox and have the essential plugins (https everywhere, noscript, requestPolicy, greasemonkey, uBlock and self-destructing cookies and cookies manager...)

People can be very retarted sometimes.

I love this guy. I'm so interested in your "facts" and their source. You promote Firefox… you poor, slow fool.

That's pretty bad, though makes sense it was figured out in the Chromium version (that's one of the points of open source, finding out what software is actually doing on your machine).

Sounds like it could be a lot worse though, like the situation you get when you use any microsoft product ever, including Windows (especially 8 and 10, but even before that). They just track everything you do on all services, including non-voluntary information, and have a hotline for governments to call to get whatever they want for any reason it seems. Also, they run Skype, which was already problematic as the basis of the infrastructure is that conversations run through other random users systems, with the hope that the security will prevent eavesdropping.
