Is having children a basic human right? Or a privilege for those who can afford them?
Should people who have kids, but not work, have their money 'capped' after having two kids while being unemployed?
What about the issue of pensions? Are these kids the people who will be paying for us in our old age? The workers of the future? Or, after being raised on the dole, the unemployed of the future? Maybe we should encourage bigger families with working parents, by offering tax breaks?
Do you think it is acceptable to start a family without financial stability? Or, if we all waited until we could afford kids, would no-one have them?
What do you think? To be honest this is a topic i'm still unsure on. not to mention is it selfish to have more than 2 children? should you have your quoto of maxuim children?
People on welfare/penions shouldnt be allowed to take care of children, plain and simple. Kids raised on welfare, tend to turn into welfare recipients themselves.
You shouldnt start a family in a unstable financial situation, it's not fair to the kids.
You should be only allowed to have 1 child. If you want more, you're encouraged to adopt since there's already all kinds of unwanted children flooding the system that more people should be adopting anyways.
