i have in both, i think
if you havent, you will only have 2 pokemon in your safari, not 3
my type is x: grass, y:rock
my grass includes a ivysaur i believe
and you do know, every pokemon in the safari will have at least 2 perfect ivs

Re: Pokemon X/Y in order to know your type, you must give someone your friend code who can communicate with you (like...this) and have them go in and encounter your 2 pokemon if you havent beat the game yet, or 3 if you are in post game and then they can tell you
you cannot encounter catch or even KNOW what pokemon or type you have
but one of my 3ds's is grass the other is rock my grass one has ivysaur
also, if you find out your type is normal soooooo many people in pokemon communities will want to add you as a friend
i try to add people who have normal type and they say their whole friend list is at max capacity while on the other hand my grass is ok because it has a starter; but my rock one is utterly useless and wanted by almost no one
also it isnt like you can start your game over and hope to get a new type, the type is determined by your friendcode so it is because of your 3ds
i have 2 3ds's so i have 2 types
