 PC Games So I'm thinking about getting games for my computer, anyone would want to suggest anything? It's been a while since I played anything except for HOGs, so I'm not sure which are good. Used to play DotA, Civ2, AoE, simcity2000 among others.
Don't suggest MMORPGs please coz my internet connection sucks.

Re: PC Games Shogun 2 is pretty good. It's like Risk but the battles CAN be played in real-time. And it's way more in-depth than risk. I think I have over 100 hours on that game.

Re: PC Games MMORPGS are designed to require as little data transfer as possible between server and client, to ease it for the server. It is therefore safe to say that if you have a shitty internet connection, then an MMORPG would be the online genre that is least affected by this. A game like dotA or all the new moba games like LoL, dota2, HoN, Smite, etc are probably the worst type of games to play under a shitty connection.
May I suggest The War for the overworld when it comes out? It's basically the new Dungeon Keeper.
How about Path of Exile? I've been wanting to try that game out myself. It's pretty much like Diablo 2. More like diablo 2 than Diablo 3 was. Except it has a skill table similar to that in Final Fantasy X. Looks cool, but I've never tried it myself, though.

The game was pretty cool, but I played it at such an early stage, it wasn't very enjoyable.
