Rap used to be my favorite genre of music. In any case, I don't listen to a lot anymore, but when I do I prefer old school along the lines of Run DMC and Public Enemy. I also like some intellectual rap like Aesop Rock. |

That said if I had to pick my favorite type of rap to listen to it would be Memphis rap. A lot of people now a days had their rapping style influenced by this guy here (who is a memphis rapper). I am not a fan of rap. That being said. I make rap myself. I love Aesop Rock, who is why I started rapping, and I love the new breed of heavy metal influenced rappers. This is a recent phenomena for me. Hate mainstream trash. Definitely the most eclectic tastes in rap. Link Link Link Link Link |
