Re: Duke Nukem Forever
yes, I don't know why, but I have always preferred console. PC makes more sense for the most part though. I think It would bother me to put data on my comp though.

Re: Duke Nukem Forever
Eh, to each own its own I suppose. I started my gaming with the NES, then jumped to the master race bandwagon and shit's been awesome ever since.

Re: Duke Nukem Forever
I'm assuming you either A. download the games or B. buy them on disk.
Either Case: will be prompted to create shortcuts, store the game files (if you want to store them them due to option A.), Store save game files in some folder structure and possibly more. What do you personally do with these and how much space total is taken up (we have moved pretty far off topic lul)

Re: Duke Nukem Forever
Oh... well, like any normal person I just let the game drop its saves wherever it wants to unless it uses up unholy amounts of space like the witcher 1/2 do, since I'll blow everything up once I uninstall it 90% of the time anyway. And yeah, I do pirate pretty much any games I consider cool, right now there's like 700gb of them in my 1tb ex-HDD.
Also what kind of faggot uses shortcuts having that awesome start menu right there?

A friend of mine torrented the witcher 2 I played for a bit, its pretty legit. Anyway to go back to topic, I played some more duke today and I keep wondering why the reviews were so bad. If you expect sophistication from duke nukem than you are a retard. Otherwise the loadtimes are bad and frame rate is a little gay at times, but it really is a sweet game. Also, I watched a bit of an hour long review of this game and the two guys were like "omg this is hard, ugh duke is a womanizing asshole blah blah blah" Thinking about it now really pisses me off. The guy playing the game was on easy and fucked up the elevator part (where you pull brake) about 5 times then went to the hive and got lost in about 3 seconds. Fucking douchebags.

Re: Duke Nukem Forever
>50 seconds in >already a considerable amount of bullshit has been said >commenting lightly on indie games implying that the fact not a trillion billion $ goes into their development means they're not as good as AAA titles and therefore one's expectations when it comes to them should be lower
oh boy here we go.

Re: Duke Nukem Forever
You know the sad part? A hell of a lot of people listen to these guys and follow their yays or nays blindly.
That's why I always pirate before buyan and don't give a flying turd about reviewers. Though I do regularly watch yahtzee's videos, I'll admit; but then again, yahtzee doesn't "review" games, he critisizes them and basically talks about how his experience was. I can repect that. Plus, dude's fun.

Re: Duke Nukem Forever
Fucking Yahtzee is the man!
I think it's hilarious when people comment on his videos though, they are always like why did he give portal 2 a worse score or why did this blah blah blah.
I want to say STFU cunts no one gives a fuck about your opinion I am watching the videos because I appreciate what he does and if I don't like something he says I move on If you can't handle it fuck off.
