Didn't make shit for progress today because I'm a dumbass. So If i add actionscript I fuck it up completely I was going to make the button in the upper right corner stop the music from the other button, but I have no idea how. The bug thing is supposed to smoothly change at the end there....it obviously doesn't, fuck with the blue button, but like I said can't stop the music so try not to kill yourselves. why isn't the music stopped by the same actionscript stop(); that takes care of the spinning bar in the middle? Also, how do I get the image to smoothly transition to the other (bug)?

Thought my city was polluted in that video I posted? Well look at it a week before I made the video. I'll post a video of it the way it is now when I get the energy to do so, but I've been feeling really depressed.

No wonder I would be depressed If I fucked over all my sims like that.

Here is a up to date screenshot of my city. You see, when a city is young in sim city, there's no geting around having polluting industeries in your city, since the sims are too uneducated to open offices and high tech industry. You must slowly nurture you're city into growing into a enviromentally friendly city. As you can see, my city still has polluting industeries, I Just keep them around for the tax base since I have their taxes as far as possible, I also have the polluting industeries for jobs for the poorest of sims, since they are easier to manage and give me lots of cheap taxes. The polluting industeries stay on the fringes of the city where land values are low and where they;re high the polluting industeries are forced to move out because of the high taxes. It's a bit hard to explain. I'm very happy with my city now

I wasnt depressed because of my city. I was depressed for other reasons. It's just a game after all. Though while I play it I pretend they're real people. You cant please everyone. My attitude is if the sims are so negative they can't see past the pollution, traffic and other things that arent high in my list of priorities they can move. Of course, environment is a high priority for me, but if I try that early on, the city will fail. debt would spiral out of control since the city doesnt have the education for businesses such as that to move in. You can only do that when the city is large and has a educated and wealthy population. When you play sim city 4 you must have a cold heart for some sims and a warm heart for some. Tears of the world

Also, Yom out of curiosity why do you have 3 layers on your button? Is it music, text, color or something? And in order to get an image (say I have 2 pictures) to smoothly transition from one to the other what do I have to do? I tried to tween it then put the new image in the last frame and it is supposed to gradually change right?

Three layers,

1 for the music, (activates when pressed)
2 other layers for text and background box.

What if you want to stop specific sounds? Where can I look at an actionscript library? Would you mind hiding it (copy paste) somewhere on this site so I can use it? If I go to anything adobe my computer flips out.......... lol.
