Post Chaos theory: The soul and its ambitions
Chaos Theory-
Thoughts and musings on : The soul and its ambtions.

While a body and mind have ambitions that take place throughout the course of ones life on earth, I believe that unknown to most, their soul also has an ambition of its own. Ambitions that may once have been institutionally known, but were cut away by the way people in society have been cultivated.
These days many people question if the soul even exists. Subjected to this belief, it's easy for a soul to be completely suffocated by its rogue body and mind.

Question -Are the body mind and soul, three separate creatures?

To jump straight to the point I want to make, I will say that I believe souls are made from a cluster of energy that gathers all in one place. This energy is not necessarily physical. Other realms can be discussed to further my opinion.
This energy will grow until it is conscious enough. It will find an opportunity, and bring itself into sync along with a body and a mind. The body, the mind, and the soul will continue through life until they are once again separated. But, what happens then? How can we find the answer to that?
Maybe we can see the future by looking at the past.
Exactly what do these entities want from their joint time here on earth? The mind, the body, the soul?

Starting with what is probably the simplest explanation to absorb. Living in the physical realm constantly, it's easy to understand your body.
Your body wants physical things. Without the mind, it would be mindless, correct? And without the soul, it would be soulless. But alone is is still a body. A physical thing that desires contact with. physical things. The 5 senses vastly satisfy it.
Sadly by nature it is mortal. It won't survive until the end of time, or maybe it will.
Question: Does a body mind being recycled into other matter? Nutrients for plants? Fuel for fire? Ashes or gas? Is it happy as long as it exists? I imagine it enjoys the time of life the most.
In the end I've decided that I think the ambition of the body is simply to exist. It has a mysterious type of immortality that the mind could surely not handle, though mine would relish the chance.

Secondly I want to write about the mind. I think it's important to understand both the mind and the body and their ambitions before seeking to understand the souls, since the soul is likely to be the least familiar to most.
Before I begin I want to clarify that when I say mind, I do not mean brain.
The thought that a mind is a separate entity from both the body and the soul, with it's own personal ambitions and self is incredible. Not a piece of the body, not necessarily physical or spiritual. If it isn't one of those two things, just what is it?
The mind has one goal that is clearly above anything else. The mind wants to expand itself. Even in the worst of times, the brain will ask 'why?'. It constantly, tirelessly seeks answers. Maybe this is because the mind -is- answers. Right answers, wrong answers, ambiguous answers, and questions which line its outer limits.
A being made of answers, feeding on questions, coming from an unexplainable realm. I think earth is a wonderful place for questions.
It's common for the mind and the body to be at war. It most likely happens because they fail to find a common interest. They're two impossibly different creatures, after-all.
I cannot speak on the minds mortality. If the mind if what I suspect it is, then I simply don't have the answers. It could die with the body or live on forever.
But in conclusion, the minds ambition is to expand itself.

Finally we come to the soul. The energy that has gathered and found its way into a unison with a body and a mind. What does it want? What could it want?
At very least, I have a theory.
I believe that a soul begins in a very weak state. New-formed it can hardly hold its energies together. It keeps itself together by enlisting the help of the body and mind. If it did not do this, it would break apart long before it had a chance to form into an inseparable mass. ( Into a true soul? )
While on earth, the soul finds opportunities to take in energy from everything. From other people/souls, from events and experiences. The mind and body are constantly drawing in and creating energies that the soul can use to grow and stabilize.
Even if someone isn't in touch with their soul, it will take in energy from everything around it. So what's the problem? Well-
If someone doesn't consider their soul and attend to it, it cannot thrive. It may take in energy from everywhere, but putting everything into a bowl and mixing doesn't make a solid dish. Your soul subjecting itself to everything that is offered to it will end in an unsure being full of contradictories that haven't been resolved. The soul probably will be unable to even get along with itself.
There is also the problem of limiting your souls versatility in being too careful of what it takes in.
I believe that if a soul does not reach a certain level of solidification, it will be separated again upon death, and scattered until its parts find themselves as pieces of another soul.
Solidity isn't defiend by its mass, but rather how well it can resonate with itself as a whole.
So, what does the soul want?

The answer is that a soul wants to be refined. It wants to find itself, and most likely keep itself. When people ask who they are, it is their soul asking that question, as your body and mind simply “are” , your soul is different.
To put it simply, a soul spends its time in life literally searching for the rest of itself. ( More of itself? )

To many, not achieving solidity of the soul is no big thing. Some people enjoy the fact that their soul will disperse and be reformed, and find the strange immortality similar to what the body possesses.
Considering this, there could be even more ambitions that souls can have. More theories to form. But for now, this is my conclusion.

The body to exist,
The mind to expand,
The soul to search. ( To survive?)

-----thoughts?

Try reading Rene Descartes Meditations of First Philosophy. His concept of Cartesian Relativism relates a lot to what your talking about here.

It's not the first time when I see such theory thou ones psyche as energy and body as container is still more reasonable to me. Not understanding part of our inner desires or their origin doesn't have to make them third, separate force.

Many statements of yours are very simillar to those of modern magic practicioners, especially followers of teachings of one british magician known as Aleister Crowley (beside ritualists). They often symphatize with new discoveries of quantum physics, making them supporting column for their belief systems. I don't hate this kind of pragmatism.
You should check it out if it's not where your theories came from in the first place.

Quantum physics for example recently showed that human thoughts created in brain are spreading outside of our heads just like waves on water and they interact with outside word on quantum level.
Chaos magicians assimilate this supporting the theory of using sygils created from part of ones psyche as tools/ resonators of creators desires. Aso all thought-forms are often based on such theories. Oh and Law of Attraction symphatizers are much into this stuff.

On your note about magicians, resil, one person noted my abilitys to kind of manipulate the world through my intentions and other things I can do as indicating that I was infact

A modern day sorcerer.

What we experience and often call 'magic' is only either illusion or outcome of phenomena that was not yet explained by science.

What if magic as we know it was ancient technology in action, described by the uninitated?

you know, just because its explained by science(people speak of science really weirdly, as if science is somehow a theory of some sort, science is the process of understanding) doesn't make it not magic

It becomes magic everyone can understand, or rather, magic with a proper rulebook.

Of course, I may be twisting the word magic while trying to clear up the definition of sceince, regardless, the shit I do looks like sorcery... or to be more exact, since I'm an empath.. feels like sorcery.

Post Re: Chaos theory: The soul and its ambitions
How did I miss this thread?

Science is a misused word more often than not. If we think of science as the undrestanding of things then what we're actually thinking about is information which describes and lists our discovered and invented world. If we think of science as rules things must follow we are thinking about theories which attempt to quantify (that is, to limit. More on that later) our observations of the world. Now if we think of science as a proccess, a method by which we can determine something with a high degree of certainty (scientific method) we're back on track.

This will sound strange but when I was fifteen I decided not to die. By that time I had seen much death and from a psychoanalytical point of view you could say I have baggage and I can't argue against that. Never-the-less I knew well enough to not just leave it at that. I began researching immortality and everything I thought I might need to know in order to live forever. Along my path of enlightenment I lost my christianity and went from agnostic theist to agnostic atheist and (semi-)finally to gnostic atheist.

In regular english I knew there was no god. This is a very controversial point so I'll quickly move on: I had experienced many things in my life that I was unable to scientifically validate. I knew these things had happened and objectively I began to form hypothesis after hypothesis all attempting to explain the extraordinary in mundane terms. Coming to the point I had to resort to theories involving things unnamed in scientific academia.

Theories. This is not to be confused with a mere hypothesis. I had a hypothesis, validated it with reproducable experiments and verified it with independant experiments. My research includes the meditation techniques of ancient religions, the totality of religious texts (translated into english, and there are simply too many to remember off-hand), many of the ancient martial arts and a large amount of human and mammalian anatomy. I have taken bits and pieces from everything and where I find parallels I add scrutiny and take an anatomical view of the words to find a verifiable meaning behind what the author knew.

My findings are that the soul is. I don't want to put too many words on that but I have verified the soul scientifically. I started with the hypothesis that there are structures in the body of humans that are "anchor" points for the soul. I backed this up with the proven and accepted fact that not only do physical objects and shapes have a resonant frequency but frequencies have resonant shapes. Simple resonance experiment that actually is only demonstrating wave-length and vibration propagation along a planar surface but is still a valid example of this effect.

A common mistake is to think of a soul as having a linear frequency, that is to say, a frequency in one dimension. For that matter it is a common mistake to think of time a linear dimension. We know of the mass/energy equivalence Image and the time/space equivalence (I forget where I found the most complete and accurate equation but it's not the energy-momentum tensor) but in all the theories and equations they only account for unidimensional time. Imagine trying to cram three dimensions into one. Now imagine that this is a two-way street and you can take the three dimensions apart and restore them. That kind of complexity and needless geometry doesn't make sense.

If we assume three dimensions of time then we have not only symetry but a very interesting situation should we combine this with the mass/energy equivalence. If on one side of the equation we have space and mass, then the other side would have time and energy. From what I've read the soul is without time as we understand it. Our aparently linear progression is what limits the experiences of our soul. If the soul is energy and the soul is without time it stands to reason that the soul is on the other side of the equation relative to our physical reality.

Now let's back up and talk about the soul. For the momment let's just assume I've proven the soul exists since we're already on that note. If you don't believe in at least the existence of the soul you probably haven't read this far. If the soul is energy in a world where time and space have switched places we need a way to visualize this; simply think of the physical world. On that side of the equation the world must function very much like this one. It might be similar to the point that it's likely our souls attempt enlightenment by "becoming one" with their physical counterparts. The idea seems almost laughable. On this side we have calcified pineal glands, materialism, false gods and many other problems that plague our bodies and minds keeping them from enlightenment.

Enlightenment needs some definition, too. I see a lot of people who define enlightment as some form of moral perfection. "We are all one, treat others as yourself" and so forth. This is a truth (more on that later) and the way we should act but is not enlightenment. Others try and say enlightment is merely and vaguely a "high state of meditation." That is the exact same as saying "cornbearding" is the ultimate form of "rajopen" which are two things I hope I made up. Since rajopen isn't clearly defined, cornbearding doesn't make sense either. I have found that the only universal definition that can be given to enlightenment is the unification of the two halves on either side of the equal sign.

Now on the other side, if it indeed mirrors or mimics this side, our soul is the construct similar to our bodies. If we think of our mind as not part of our body (which I tend to agree it isn't) then our soul has a "mind" of sorts and needs a distinguishing name. Let's call it the will. The will of the soul. This has a conotation in english that works very well in this definition. Our mind "wills" our body to act (or not) and so our will does the same for our soul. The soul is a complex mix of energies with a coherent arrangement that form a will. The will is the sentience of our soul, which separates our souls from the simpler souls of rocks and plants, for the sake of example.

That's most of the theory, I've tried to shorten it due to time, space, the fact that nth dimensional calculus is boring and the fact I'm typing this on a phone. Mostly I wanted to get these few key points out and see what you think. (And how you respond) I have taken a very cold and sciency path towards enlightenment but I hope you can look past that and give me your honest and brutal opinion.

Thank you for your time and the enormous effort it is to sit through anything I have to say.

I see that fluffy has some intriguing thoughts. If you are in this kind of futurological point of view then I sugest reading some of Dr Fred Alan Wolf works and articles.
I've readed one on this topic, in english it shoud be like "Soul and Quantum Physics", check it out if you find it. cooki:

I like to simplify things.
Soul is just (unique for every invidual) electrical energy structure endlesly produced and stored in our brain (till its death). Soul is ongoing unstable process in human CPU. As it's true that some forms of enegry can exist without matter, thou due theirs unstable form most of the time they cannot stay in the same form without proper container. If our body contains any other form of energy the rule still stays true. Matter don't disapear - it just cahnges it's owner, it's the same with energy. As we die and our body decomposes so would that potential energy one would call his soul - it would't stay in it's original form for eternity.

I have but one rule - If it works then it's true. And Sigmund's Freud scrutural model of psyche is that kind of thing.
What I would call enlightment, if I had to, would be to follow your own nature, so the definition used by most wouldn't be far from true.
Fulfil your desires, and be at peace with your morality at the same time, without running into world of illusions. That's true definition of happiness and enightment for me.
