In all honesty? I'm tired. I love you all as brothers, but I've become disenchanted with this place. It's no longer the bastion of freedom and fucked uppery that it once was (at least in my eyes). Whatever fueled my desire to spam and get a yaught is long gone, and in it's place is a dutiful tedium.

People have been arguing that Forkheads is "dead" for years, every time something changes it's "no longer the FH I once knew". Change is inevitable, and sometimes change is good. What I realize is this: Forkheads has "died" many times. It dies in the individual, not the forum. When your love of spamming, pornography, gratuitous violent sex and every other ideal that makes FH what it is has left you, Forkheads (to you) has died. After all, what IS Forkheads but ideals? We have no set currency, no set logo, no set forum names; no real rules other than what is necessary to keep us on the forumhost, but even then those are disregarded because they are just not our way.

By this logic, you realize that Forkheads is really inside of all of us (lawl cliche). If you found FH and stayed, even for a little while, then it's clear that you embodied any (and all) of those ideals at one point, and if you want to revive FH you have to look deep inside yourself and find them...and bring them to light. Indulge. Forkheads is indulgence; no greater cause other than self pleasure. And in the greater sense of things, this means that it's always existed and always will (though not in the same form). So in the grander scheme of things, even if one incarnation of "Forkheads" dies, there will always be places on the net for people like us. I would say *chan, but frankly it's also made of fail.

I guess what I'm trying to say, in my own roundabout way, is that Forkheads only dies when the ideals it represents die within you. So no one is to blame for Forkheads "death" but yourself. What you have to decide is whether you want to search yourself and hold those same ideals, or whether you're ready to move on to something different.
