I mean, sucking on it would mean it gets absorbed through the mucus membrane and hit you like a truck...was it an incredibly bitter taste, or something else? It should've tasted bitter...

Actually, to be specific, it feels like I'm drunk and stoned, but I haven't smoked any weed.
But I guess my expectations were higher from what I've seen in the media.
It certainly was bitter as fuck, and as I said: while sucking on it my mouth ended up going completely numb. But that passed after about 10 minutes or so.

The only time I've been distinctly, noticeably fucked up on something other than booze or weed was a night way back in high school when I took a speed tablet and a qualude at the same time. First I went into extreme, fast-paced "holy shit I gotta febreze the fuck outta the entire house" to a "hooooooollllllllllyyyyyyyy sssssshhhhhhhiiiiiiiiitttttt...............thiiiiiiiissssssss fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffucking mmmmmmmmeeeelllllllllllllloooowwww rrrrrriiiiiiiddddddeeeeee iiiiiisssss sssssswwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttt....."
