 Resident Evil 5 Might as well movie the discussion to it's own topic  . First time my brother saw Sheva in her tribal outfit, he said "Now, is there any real reason someone would wear that in a combat situation?" To which I simply replied "No."  Had to say some of the treasures were a pain in the ass to find...while others were "how the fuck did I not find this on my first play through?" Favorite weapon, as you might have guessed, was the super magnum...just can't get over how amazing that gun is. Can't say I liked the gatling gun though...I can appreciate it's amazing power and speed, but the accuracy bonus costs you in the level score and it's hard as fuck to see anything over that big box. The bow was fun, just a bit tricky to aim. Let's see...oh, the beat-stick was entertaining too.

Re: Resident Evil 5 could have been way better with a better control scheme but once you get used to it its just as fun as anyother resident evil i have yet to beat it though im still trying to figuerout what jill has to do with anything. however zombies with guns?
why thats just plain fucking annoying when you are running on a convaer belt full of gas tanks

Re: Resident Evil 5 Basically Jill is just there to be there. A couple games ago she, evidently, tackles Wesker out a window, sacrificing herself to defeat him. Chris thinks she's dead, but finds evidence that says different. One of the game's major themes is working with your partner and building a trusting relationship. Jill used to be Chris' partner, so he still feels responsible for her.
As for the zombies with guns, they're not so much zombies as they are mutants.

Re: Resident Evil 5 they're not exactly mutants either. they're infected by a parasite. in RE4 it was Las Plagas, in this one, it's Uroboros (a more powerful version of Las Plagas).
Wesker lives and he puts something on Jill to control her. yadda yadda. I skipped halfway through the cut scenes.

Re: Resident Evil 5 I watched all the cut-scenes my first time through, because hey, you buy the game for the story, right? At least I do. Anyways, after the first playthrough I started skipping them...amazing how very, very short that game becomes when you skip all the cut-scenes. I still say they're more mutant than infected. The Las Plagas parasite turns you into a mutant, and it is what was used on the majority of the enemies in RE5. Uroburos wasn't used on the regular enemies, Uroburos was specifically the tentacle monsters and Wesker himself. As the story makes it clear that, once infected with Uroburos, there's only 2 possible outcomes: the subject will become a mass of writhing tentacles, such as the one that attacks Alpha Team, the one you fight in the research center, and the massive one that the big-tittied bitch turns into. Or you become an agent smith-like superman, as seen in Wesker. Anyways, that's why I call the baddies mutants instead of zombies or infected, it says specifically in some of the files you find and read that the parasite causes mutations in the host while letting them retain a basic degree of intelligence. Fucking hated those fucking dogs...

Re: Resident Evil 5 yeah, the bosses are mutants cause they inject it into themselves, but the locals just had parasites in them. you even see how it's shoved down their throats.

Re: Resident Evil 5 Yeah, and those parasites in turn mutate the locals...which is why with the headshots you sometimes get the fliers, the centipedes, or that little 4 prong mouth that growls and hisses until the body falls and dies.

Re: Resident Evil 5 those are the parasites after they've reached full grown state. the host dies (as you see him die) and the parasite gets released. sort of like tape worms.

Re: Resident Evil 5 Just bought it for $30, a night's worth of tips, from a dude at work. Only thing that sucks is that I have to start all over with my unlockables and inventory since all my shit is saved on a friend's XBox.
