Re: HEY YOU! 1) Star Wars and Starfox are highly unrelated as Star Wars is a movie series (and later other things like books and such), while Starfox is a video game series. If we are comparing Star Wars GAMES with Starfox, maybe there is some grounds, but thats really not the relevant point of Star Wars.
2) Star Wars, however, is at least more culturally and socially relevant and influential. In fact, aspects of Starfox were likely inspired at least in part by Star Wars.
3)READ A BOOK!

Re: HEY YOU! 1) The only reason why I'm comparing them is because they are both considered sci-fi.
2) Not true. From what I hear, It was a concept derived form Shgeriu Miyamoto. It was merely a method to show off the capability of the Super FX chip in the SNES. (Super FX, StarFoX, get the picture?) Nintendo found that it was a good concept for excellent storylines and extra profit.

Re: HEY YOU! 1) One is a Sci-fi MOVIE, the other a Sci-fi esque GAME.
2)What you just said is that the game came from the main game creator/concept maker of Nintendo. That Miyamoto made the particular idea does not at all negate that many aspects probably were inspired by Star Wars. This does not diminish Starfox, as most good things are built upon or inspired by many sources. It does, however, show the influence of Star Wars. And yes, I know all about the Super FX, the idea that it was made to show off technology only makes it more likely to be conceptually based on something else as it would not be a point of major concern.
3) Read a book, it might help clear some of this up for you.
