The only real reason to be a mod is to ban people you don't like...unfortunately they get unbanned and you get demodded. So there's really no reason to be a mod except for editing people's posts that you don't like...unfortunately those people bitch and complain and you get demodded.
So really there's no reason to be a mod...nothing really special.

The main reason for the staff fixes is because I don't have much time to police the forum with the updates
and i sure won't have any time in the next month. Heh I know I didn't get demodded for any reason other than not really doing the job...Kain made that abundantly clear, and even before he made it abundantly clear I figured that was the reason anyways. It's nothing personal, and it's not like I'm on that much anyways so I'd be a poor excuse for a mod even if I did the job. I check the forum from time to time, post something in a few select topics, maybe make a topic myself if I've a funny/stoned/drunk/passionate thought. But, as the site's motto suggests: I'm far too busy doing nothing to be a mod.

I personally like digsby more because I use it to check my email and social networking sites, but pidgin is very good for what it's designed to do too. If you only use MSN though, aMSN is a very good replacement for Windows Live Messenger program.

Re: So it seems I've been demodded. I think people like the title (yes i'm comparing you to BrySam). Since Desmond aint more "useful" then the ones demoded so I doubt Kain would keep him anyway. Also editing posts is not a punishable offence it's just that people bitch but I don't know any mods who have edited and suffered for it (unless out of spam ofcourse but PPM did that and still did not suffer for it and he actually deletes posts).
