and it sucks (I broke 2 bones and have 6 stress fractures)

Re: rai is home (for a minute) The Army is not a very forgiving place in terms of bones. I knew a dude in basic getting processed out because his bone cancer got worse and he's not allowed to stand for more than five minutes at a time and has to wear special socks that go all the way up his legs to squeeze the blood back into the right places. His bones will eventually deteriorate and turn to dust.

More in the Army, Navy, and especially Air Force(not far from lackland). Fractures in basic are not that damn common.

Hey, not everybody keeps going past the point where it hurts until you pass out. Marines just give up easier. I trained on Fort Knox next to a Marine training unit. I went blow-for-blow with them. We had "combatives" (HA! Right! We just wanted to fight.) in the pit more than once. Now granted, I fought dirty. I called it "winning." Their punches were soft, their will was weak, they didn't want to stay in the pit with me for very long, and they couldn't take a punch. I was 120 lbs. back then. Untrained, barely out of combatives level one, didn't know how to throw a punch; that's level two. My MOS was 63M, which is a combat Bradley mechanic. My job description was running into a tank fight we where one of ours went down, on foot, and fixing that shit under fire that has already brought down a Bradley. We trained like we would go up against tanks because we would. We beat the hell out of each other for fun. We made marines look like a fucking joke. Mind you, this was a decade ago. The pussies I see coming into Subway I wouldn't hesitate to snap in half to prove a point.
